Schedule:

• 5 days per week
• 8-hour shifts
• No weekends or on-call requirements

Qualifications:

• Doctorate, Master’s, Bachelor’s, or Associate’s degree in Physical Therapy
• Active New Mexico Physical Therapist license
• BLS certification from AHA
• Demonstrated skills in patient evaluation, communication, organization, and decision-making

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and treat patients with neuromusculoskeletal and cardiorespiratory conditions as prescribed
• Collaborate with patients, their families, and an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized plans of care
• Administer and oversee a broad range of physical therapy modalities (exercise, therapeutic treatments, cryotherapy, ultrasound, balance, and gait training)
• Regularly communicate patient progress and adapt care in conjunction with physicians
• Supervise PT Assistants and Rehabilitation Assistants, and assist in training new staff
• Maintain detailed patient records and ensure therapy charges are accurate
• Contribute to continuous quality improvement and professional development
