Deliver compassionate therapy services in a home-based care setting, supporting patients across diverse geographical regions. This contract role is ideal for an experienced clinician seeking dynamic assignments within a professional hospital environment. Flexible scheduling means most hours are Monday through Friday, 8am–5pm, and you’ll work every third weekend, with holidays only as needed.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Majority of hours: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm
  • Weekend rotation: Every 3rd weekend
  • Holiday coverage: Minor holidays required; major holidays only if needed

Qualifications:

  • Minimum two years of professional experience in therapy (PT, OT, or Speech)
  • Current California state licensure in the applicable discipline
  • Active BLS certification
  • One year of experience in home health preferred (but not required)
  • Proficiency with Oasis documentation (government-mandated forms)
  • Experience using Cerner EMR is advantageous
  • For Speech: CCC-SLP or CCC-A credential preferred
  • Professional business attire with a white lab coat (no jeans)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based, compassionate therapy services in patients’ homes within assigned regions
  • Provide care for a variety of diagnoses, including orthopedics, strokes, joint replacements, spinal injuries, and complex speech cases
  • Collaborate with permanent rehab aides, OTA/PTA staff, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
  • Complete thorough, accurate Oasis documentation per regulatory requirements
  • Participate in comprehensive orientation (1.5–2 weeks) to support successful onboarding and patient care delivery
