Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist
• Active California PT license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Acute care experience preferred, including total joint replacement therapy
• Ability to work in both inpatient and outpatient environments is advantageous
• Comfortable with documentation in Cerner EMR system

Responsibilities:

• Provide patient evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation for a range of diagnoses, including ortho, neuro, wound care, lymphedema, and pediatrics
• Work primarily in med-surg, telemetry, and ICU units with occasional coverage in ER and pediatrics (inpatient)
• Administer care in outpatient clinics, which may include hand therapy
• Adapt to variable shifts with 8-hour workdays; start times vary by department
• Collaborate with other rehabilitation professionals, including OT and Speech Therapy teams
• Participate in orientation and ongoing training tailored to unit-specific protocols

Additional Details:

• Weekend coverage typically 3 shifts per quarter; scheduling flexibility available
• Professional attire required: business casual in outpatient settings and designated polos inpatient
