Schedule/Hours:

• Primarily outpatient with acute care coverage as needed

Key Qualifications:

• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT), eligible for practice in Michigan
• Clinical background in outpatient and/or acute care settings preferred
• Effective delegation and supervision skills for PT Assistants, Aides, and students
• Demonstrated aptitude in assessment, care planning, intervention, and documentation
• Strong communication and teaching abilities for patient/family education

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to determine patients’ physical status across systems (skeletal, neurological, respiratory, cardiovascular)
• Create and update individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans aligned with physician directives
• Educate and train patients, families, and caregivers regarding treatment approaches and home programs
• Recommend and help secure adaptive equipment as appropriate
• Maintain thorough and compliant documentation for patient records and billing
• Uphold all safety, infection control, and confidentiality standards
• Collaborate within interdisciplinary teams; contribute to process improvement and program development
• Provide instruction, mentorship, and support to ancillary staff and students
