Schedule/Hours:

  • Travel assignment (variable shifts may apply)

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy required; Master’s or Doctorate preferred
  • Active Physical Therapist license in Massachusetts (or the ability to obtain)
  • Previous experience in hospital, long-term, or skilled nursing settings preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
  • Strong clinical knowledge of therapy evaluation, intervention planning, and outcome documentation
  • Proficient communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Team player with a resident-centered care approach

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and establish individualized plans of care with functional long- and short-term goals
  • Partner with interdisciplinary teams and families to maximize patient outcomes and independence
  • Deliver education to residents, caregivers, and clinical staff regarding therapy interventions and safe use of assistive devices
  • Maintain accurate EMR documentation in compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance requirements
  • Provide mentorship to new staff, supervise assistant-level staff, and foster a collaborative environment
  • Participate in program development and ongoing learning to remain current with therapy best practices
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and ensure cleanliness and organization of the therapy department
