A physical therapy professional is sought to deliver medically prescribed programs aimed at restoring function and preventing disability following injury, disease, or loss of a body part. This role involves planning and implementing therapy through physical exercise, massage, heat, water treatments, and the use of mechanical or electrical equipment, as well as prosthetic and orthotic devices. Accurate evaluation, documentation, and reporting of patient progress are essential components of the position. This travel opportunity is based in Ingleside, TX, with a full-time, five-day, 8-hour day shift schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and implement physician prescriptions according to practice act guidelines.
  • Provide overall supervision, direction, and instruction to physical therapy assistants, support staff, volunteers, and students.
  • Contribute to performance evaluations of assistants and support staff.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient data and ensure safety and welfare of patients and team members.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Familiarity with the American Physical Therapy Association Code of Ethics and the Guide to Physical Therapy Practice.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • New graduates are welcome; prior experience is preferred.
  • Current license from the Texas Board of Physical Therapy & Occupational Therapy Examiners.
  • BLS certification (American Heart Association only).
