Deliver advanced therapy care in an established hospital environment where compassionate patient interaction and professional growth go hand in hand. Work on a 42-bed inpatient rehab unit equipped with modern therapy technology, alongside a multidisciplinary team of experienced physical and occupational therapists and assistants. Care for a variety of patient populations, including orthopedic, cardiovascular, neurologic, and general medical/surgical cases.

Schedule & Shift

  • Day shift, 8-hour shifts (no overnights)
  • One weekend per month (with balanced weekdays off)
  • No on-call

Qualifications

  • Active BLS certification required
  • At least 1 year of current experience in acute care hospital, inpatient rehab, or SNF settings
  • Flexibility to work varied day shift hours
  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred

Unit Overview

  • Work under the guidance of a director and lead PT
  • Average staffing: Director, Lead PT, 4–5 PTs, 5–6 PTAs per day
  • Utilize a range of equipment: treatment beds, exercise balls, resistance bands, treadmills, and bikes
  • Electronic Medical Record system: Meditech

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver inpatient therapy to rehabilitation and acute med/surg populations following surgical schedules and patient turnover
  • Collaborate with clinicians to manage patient plans of care and meet therapy goals
  • Contribute to weekend and holiday rotation as scheduled
