Schedule/Hours:

  • Travel position (specific schedule provided at assignment)

As a Physical Therapist in this hospital setting, you will work closely with residents, care providers, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality therapy services. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop patient-centered plans of care
  • Deliver therapy services in accordance with physician orders and best practice guidelines
  • Educate residents, caregivers, and staff on therapeutic plans and assistive devices
  • Accurately document in the electronic medical record, ensuring compliance with reimbursement regulations
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and attend care meetings
  • Support orientation for new staff and provide mentorship as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness and adhere to infection control policies
  • Stay current with licensure, certifications, and required compliance courses

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy required; Master's or Doctorate preferred
  • Active Physical Therapist license in Massachusetts (or eligibility)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred
  • Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing highly desirable
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and documentation standards
