Required Qualifications/Desired Experience
- Active Physical Therapist licensure in California (or ability to obtain)
- Degree in Physical Therapy
- Strong competency with EMR systems and standard computer applications
- Proficiency in DX and ICD-10 coding, therapy billing processes
- Experience or interest in supervising PT Assistants/Aides
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and support patients with mobility restrictions
- Commitment to ongoing learning; continuing education a plus
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients in rehabilitation programs, improving mobility, function, and strength
- Document all patient evaluations, progress, and program completion in EMR
- Supervise and mentor PT Assistants and Aides in patient care
- Maintain communication with physicians, front office, and other staff to ensure quality care
- Adhere to HIPAA and privacy regulations, company policies, and OSHA/federal guidelines
- Participate in business marketing/referral processes as needed
