Schedule/Hours:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred
• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Massachusetts
• Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
• Strong communication, customer service, and time management skills
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
• Compassionate, resident-focused mindset

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and develop personalized therapeutic plans for residents
• Lead and supervise assistant-level staff as appropriate
• Collaborate with residents, families, and healthcare team members to maximize patient independence and outcomes
• Ensure timely, accurate documentation in Electronic Medical Records
• Provide education for residents and caregivers, including safe assistive device use
• Stay current with professional standards, participate in department initiatives, and mentor new staff
