This travel role requires adaptability, as you’ll start at one location before transitioning to another mid-assignment—further broadening your professional network and adaptability in varying healthcare environments. You’ll support patients striving to regain their physical function, collaborate with families, and contribute to process improvements, all within a supportive hospital setting.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Travel assignment with an initial start at one facility and transition to another in July

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate—DPT required for licensure from 2016 onward)
  • Active Physical Therapist license and BLS Certification required
  • 1-2 years of experience as a physical therapist in hospital, rehabilitation, or ambulatory settings
  • Orthopedic physical therapy experience required
  • Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record systems
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct patient assessments, interpret evaluations, and develop individualized care plans
  • Administer manual therapy and therapeutic exercises, ensuring accurate documentation
  • Collaborate with patients and families to set realistic treatment goals
  • Participate in hospital-wide quality and process improvement initiatives
  • Supervise PTAs per policy and regulations
