Schedule/Hours:
- Full-time, 8-10 hour workdays based on patient care needs.
Key Qualifications:
- Degree in Physical Therapy required
- Active California PT license (or eligibility to test soon)
- Strong clinical and EMR skills (typing, Microsoft Word, internet proficiency)
- Knowledge of DX and ICD-10 coding, billing practices (Medicare, private, auto, workers’ comp, etc.)
- Ability to lift 50 pounds, assist with patient mobility, and safely support patients
- Leadership experience in supervising PT Assistants and Aides
- Ongoing commitment to continuing education is preferred
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat patients using evidence-based rehab programs to promote mobility and strength
- Maintain accurate documentation through electronic medical records and patient charts
- Supervise and guide PT Assistants and Aides in treatment protocols
- Communicate professionally with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Protect patient privacy and comply with all HIPAA, OSHA, and regulatory standards
- Participate in marketing and referral-building activities as needed
- Ensure a welcoming, supportive environment that addresses patients’ needs and questions
