Providing expert physical therapy services in an acute care rehab setting, this role offers the opportunity to deliver personalized care to patients ranging from adolescents to geriatrics. The focus is on treating general orthopedics, low back pain, hip and knee pain, post-surgical rehabilitation, and general neuro conditions—all within a supportive 55-bed community hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver one-on-one physical therapy sessions tailored to patient needs
  • Utilize manual therapy, exercise, mechanical traction, and gait training techniques
  • Support patient recovery with evidence-based interventions including blood flow restriction therapy (training provided)
  • Collaborate closely with other therapists and a physical therapy assistant
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the EPIC charting system
  • Participate in weekend rotation approximately once every eight weeks, as well as one summer and one winter holiday
  • Adhere to facility policies including COVID-19 vaccination requirements and business casual attire

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid BLS certification
  • Experience in manual therapy and therapeutic exercises; vestibular training preferred but not required
  • Comfortable using EPIC electronic health records
  • Open to therapists with at least one year of experience, including first-time travelers
  • Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams

Location: Situated in Marinette, WI, this community hospital is approximately one hour north of Green Bay. The area offers a peaceful setting with access to outdoor recreation and a welcoming small-town atmosphere. The outpatient rehab facility is just 1.5 miles from the hospital, ensuring a convenient work environment.

Contract Details & Schedule:

  • Contract position with 1-3 days orientation based on your comfort level
  • Weekend rotation once every eight weeks; no on-call responsibilities
  • Up to 7 days of approved time off for work-life balance
  • Free parking available onsite
