Key Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey (or eligibility)
- Experience in hospital or outpatient therapy settings is highly preferred
- Ability to perform thorough patient evaluations and implement customized treatment plans
- Strong communication skills to educate patients, families, and colleagues
- Knowledge and adherence to safety protocols and professional codes of conduct
- Commitment to continuous professional development and maintaining required CEUs
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate assigned patients and develop evidence-based, patient-specific treatment plans in line with physician directives
- Delegate and provide direction for all therapy services in your discipline
- Design effective functional treatment programs to promote return to community activities
- Document all interventions, outcomes, and communications clearly and in a timely fashion, ensuring compliance with state, federal, and organizational standards
- Maintain safety standards, focusing on best practices in patient and employee safety, infection control, and environmental awareness
- Serve as a positive role model for students and new staff by participating in education and training programs
- Contribute to performance improvement initiatives and work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
