Physical Therapist - Monterey, California

A skilled nursing facility is seeking an adaptable and compassionate physical therapist to support therapy services in a dynamic hospital environment. This contract position is ideal for those who enjoy making a difference in a collaborative setting and are passionate about patient-centered care.

Schedule:

• Preference for Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday coverage

Qualifications:

• Active California Physical Therapy license required
• Experience in skilled nursing facility settings preferred
  • Mentorship available for those with 0–1 year of experience
• Strong documentation and time management skills
• Flexible, collaborative approach to patient care
• Willingness to float to a nearby sister facility as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and treat patients in a skilled nursing facility setting to improve mobility, strength, and independence
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each patient’s goals and abilities
• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary care team to promote comprehensive patient outcomes
• Complete documentation using Net Health, meeting all facility standards and requirements
• Demonstrate adaptability in responding to patient needs and supporting facility operations
