Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations utilizing specialized testing to assess strength, range of motion, coordination, sensation, ambulation, transfers, and rehabilitation potential.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with patients' short- and long-term goals.
  • Perform therapy treatments safely and timely, involving patients’ families and staff when appropriate.
  • Document all patient care in compliance with APTA standards to ensure accurate medical records.
  • Participate actively in departmental meetings, educational sessions, and professional development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with physical therapy assistants, supervising and setting goals to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Uphold patient confidentiality and adhere strictly to all facility and corporate policies.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current physical therapy license in good standing.
  • Proven experience in hospital-based physical therapy.
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based practice and a commitment to continuous learning.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with patients, family members, and healthcare teams.
