Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active, unrestricted Physical Therapy license (or eligibility) in Connecticut
  • Experience in outpatient/hospital settings preferred
  • Strong clinical reasoning and evaluation skills
  • Commitment to professional ethics, safety, and patient confidentiality
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities
  • Ability to mentor students and support a collaborative work environment
  • Up-to-date on required continuing education

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and develop individualized treatment plans for each assigned patient in accordance with physician directions and patient goals
  • Deliver therapy services, delegating appropriately to other providers as needed
  • Prioritize patient and staff safety in all aspects of care
  • Complete timely and thorough documentation in compliance with all regulations
  • Educate patients, families, students, and colleagues to foster a supportive environment
  • Participate in professional growth opportunities and adhere to all licensing requirements
  • Contribute to performance improvement initiatives to enhance care quality
