Qualifications and Experience:
- Active, unrestricted Physical Therapist (PT) license
- Demonstrated experience delivering PT care within a hospital or large healthcare setting
- Proficient in developing and implementing individualized therapy plans for diverse patient populations
- Strong knowledge of rehabilitation protocols for acute and chronic conditions
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Solid organizational skills and attention to documentation accuracy
Schedule/Hours:
- Contract role with full-time hours; schedule details provided during interview
Your Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and administer prescribed physical therapy treatments to restore function and reduce pain for hospital inpatients and outpatients
- Evaluate patient progress and collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to adjust care plans
- Document all services rendered and patient responses in compliance with regulatory and hospital standards
- Educate patients and families on home care exercises, injury prevention, and strategies for continued recovery
- Maintain a safe, positive, and therapeutic environment for all individuals under your care
- Participate in interdisciplinary case conferences and contribute to overall quality improvement initiatives
