This travel assignment allows you to grow your PT expertise in diverse hospital settings, exposing you to innovative therapeutic approaches and a variety of leadership styles. Serving a territory that includes San Jose, Santa Clara, Sunnyvale, Cupertino, and more, you’ll collaborate with clinicians across a broad spectrum of backgrounds and contribute directly to improving patient lives.
Schedule/Hours:
- Guaranteed 36 hours per week based on meeting productivity expectations (minimum 27 points/week for guarantee; points based on visit types and required documentation)
- Weekend and travel coverage beyond assigned territory may be expected to fulfill caseload
- Flexibility required for possible travel outside scheduled areas
Qualifications:
- Current California Physical Therapy License (PT)
- Active BLS certification
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and vehicle registration
- Up-to-date on TB (annual), MMR, Varicella, HepB, TDap (within 10 years), Flu (annual), drug screen, and physical
- Experience in hospital therapeutic settings preferred
- Comfort working with varied patient populations, including COVID-19 positive or under investigation
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations, recertifications, routine, discharge, and follow-up visits as assigned
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based physical therapy interventions
- Complete all required documentation accurately and promptly
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Serve as a clinical resource for patients and families
