This travel assignment gives you the chance to expand your professional portfolio by adapting to different operational styles and broadening your clinical expertise in physical therapy. Schedule/Hours:

  • 36 hours guaranteed if productivity meets facility requirements (27 points/week)
  • Occasional weekend coverage may be needed
  • Flexibility for travel throughout assigned counties and potential additional areas

Key Qualifications:

  • Active California Physical Therapy license
  • Current BLS certification
  • Valid Driver’s License, auto insurance, and vehicle registration
  • Up-to-date on required health screenings and immunizations (TB, MMR, Varicella, HepB, TDap within 10 years, Flu)
  • Ability to handle diverse patient cases, including Covid+ and Covid PUI, in a hospital-based setting

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations, routine visits, and discharge assessments in accordance with hospital protocols
  • Complete documentation and patient communications within required time frames
  • Travel to patient locations across assigned territories, possibly extending outside these areas as needed
  • Maintain productivity standards based on a point system for visit types
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide quality patient-centered therapy
