Seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to provide hospital-based therapy services within a contract assignment. The role focuses on patient care, evaluation, and rehabilitation across a designated territory, with potential for occasional travel outside the primary area and possible weekend assignments to maintain caseload expectations.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 36-hour guarantee available with productivity requirement (at least 27 points per week based on visit type)
  • Potential weekend coverage as needed
  • Flexibility required to travel within assigned territory and, at times, beyond

Qualifications:

  • Current California Physical Therapist license
  • BLS certification
  • Valid Driver’s License, auto insurance, and vehicle registration required
  • Up-to-date immunization records (TB, MMR, Varicella, HepB, TDap within 10 years, Flu annually)
  • Completion of drug screening and physical
  • Strong documentation and communication skills
  • Comfortable providing care to both Covid+ and Covid PUI patients

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and interventions in hospital settings
  • Accurately perform and document OASIS assessments (Routine, Eval, Discharge, Re-Cert, RoC, etc.)
  • Travel between patient visits within the assigned territory and, when necessary, to other locations as required
  • Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams, communicating with patients, families, and physicians
  • Meet required productivity and documentation standards
  • Maintain compliance with all professional and facility guidelines
