Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current, unencumbered license as a Physical Therapist
  • Recent experience providing therapy in a hospital setting
  • Solid understanding of rehabilitative techniques for acute and sub-acute patients
  • Strong communication skills for effective patient education and team collaboration
  • Ability to adapt quickly within a fast-paced, evolving healthcare environment
  • CPR/BLS certification required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate patients to determine functional status and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Implement evidence-based physical therapy interventions to aid recovery and achieve patient goals
  • Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed, maintaining detailed documentation of care
  • Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to optimize patient outcomes
  • Educate patients and families regarding exercises, injuries, and rehabilitation processes
  • Adhere to all hospital policies, safety standards, and ethical guidelines
