Key Qualifications:
- Proven clinical experience in hospital or outpatient physical therapy.
- Active, unrestricted Physical Therapy license in accordance with state regulations.
- Strong ability to evaluate, develop, implement, and modify treatment plans in line with patient needs, goals, and physician direction.
- Capable of delegating and directing therapy services, ensuring safety and best practices are met.
- Commitment to professional standards, ethical conduct, confidentiality, and upholding core organizational values.
- Effective communication skills to educate patients, families, and staff.
- Familiarity with compliance standards, documentation procedures, and safety protocols.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Complete comprehensive evaluations and use clinical reasoning to create and adapt treatment plans.
- Document all aspects of patient care accurately and promptly, including progress notes, goals, and insurance requirements.
- Deliver therapy under valid physician orders and within insurance authorizations as appropriate.
- Promote a culture of patient and employee safety—participate in safe patient handling, infection control, and environmental awareness.
- Contribute to ongoing performance improvement efforts and offer constructive feedback.
- Participate in the mentorship and supervision of students and support a positive learning environment.
- Develop and pursue individualized professional growth through continued education and involvement in professional organizations.
