Deliver high-quality therapeutic care in a dynamic hospital environment, working primarily with physical therapy patients. This contract position focuses on both inpatient and outpatient care, ensuring effective treatment for a diverse patient population.

Key Details:

  • 10-hour day shifts
  • Manage a caseload of 13-15 patients daily
  • 80% inpatient, 20% outpatient coverage
  • Provide care at two clinics within a one-hour drive of each other

Qualifications:

  • Valid Physical Therapy license and current registration
  • Recent experience in a hospital setting—preferably with both inpatient and outpatient populations
  • Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills
  • Flu vaccine mandatory—no exceptions
  • Must not reside within a 100-mile radius of the facility
  • Willingness to travel daily between two clinic locations
  • Ability to provide safe, effective therapy independently and collaboratively

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough patient evaluations, develop individualized care plans, and deliver evidence-based therapy
  • Monitor progress, adjust interventions as needed, and maintain accurate records
  • Educate patients and families on therapy techniques and home care strategies
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members for optimal patient outcomes
  • Remain flexible and responsive to shift cancellations as outlined in the assignment guidelines
