Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to develop and adapt treatment plans aligned with physician directions and patient needs.
  • Oversee and delegate therapy services, ensuring high-quality, functional programming for patient progress.
  • Educate patients, families, students, and coworkers to promote understanding and effective care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address barriers to discharge, including equipment management and training.
  • Maintain thorough, timely documentation compliant with hospital policy and regulatory guidelines.
  • Participate in student education and professional development activities.
  • Uphold safety protocols promoting a secure environment for patients and staff.
  • Comply with all professional codes of conduct, licensing requirements, and performance improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
  • Experience in hospital-based physical therapy, particularly in critical illness and rehabilitative care.
