Deliver outstanding patient-centered therapy in a dynamic hospital environment. This contract role requires a dedicated professional with experience in hospital acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, or skilled nursing facilities. You’ll have the opportunity to work on a 42-bed inpatient rehab unit equipped with state-of-the-art therapy tools and be surrounded by a supportive multidisciplinary team that includes Directors, Lead PTs, and both Physical and Occupational Therapists and Assistants.
Schedule:
- Day shift (8-hour shifts; hours vary by volume)
- One weekend per month (with weekdays off to balance)
- No on-call or night shifts
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in hospital acute care, IP Rehab, or SNF settings
- Flexibility to work variable day shifts as workload demands
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred
- Proven skills in caring for orthopedic, cardiovascular, neurologic, and general med/surg patient populations
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy to diverse inpatient populations using therapy beds, exercise equipment, and Meditech EMR
- Collaborate closely with directors, lead therapists, and assistants to deliver best-in-class patient care
- Exercise sound clinical judgment and contribute as a reliable, empathetic team member
- Rotate through weekend and holiday schedules as assigned
- Maintain high professional standards, including proper time management and technological proficiency
