An opportunity is available for a Physical Therapist to work in a hospital setting on a contract basis. This position offers the chance to provide therapeutic support to patients, working as part of a professional healthcare team dedicated to delivering top-quality rehabilitative care.
Key Qualifications:
- Active, unrestricted Physical Therapy license in the state
- Prior hospital-based therapy experience preferred
- Ability to assess, develop, and implement individualized therapy plans
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient with documentation and electronic health records
- Adaptability to work in a dynamic healthcare environment

Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients’ functional abilities, develop tailored treatment plans, and monitor progress
- Provide patient-centered, evidence-based physical therapy interventions
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing, and other therapists for coordinated care
- Educate patients and their families on treatment strategies and home exercise programs
- Maintain accurate, timely records and documentation in accordance with hospital policies
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings as required
