Deliver impactful patient care as a skilled Travel Physical Therapist in a well-established skilled nursing setting in Monterey County, California. This contract position offers the opportunity to provide transformative therapy services in a collaborative environment, working with an interdisciplinary team dedicated to patient-centered outcomes.

Schedule Preferences:

  • Sunday through Thursday or Tuesday through Saturday schedules available

Qualifications:

  • Current and active Physical Therapist license in California
  • Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility strongly preferred (mentorship and support available for those with 0-1 years of experience)
  • Proficiency in clinical documentation and time management
  • Adaptability and a collaborative approach to patient care
  • Willingness to float to a sister facility within walking distance if needed

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform initial and ongoing evaluations of patients in the skilled nursing environment
  • Create and deliver individualized treatment plans aimed at improving patient mobility, strength, and independence
  • Work closely with nursing, medical, and rehabilitation staff to coordinate patient care
  • Maintain timely and thorough documentation using Net Health in accordance with facility protocols
  • Support a patient-focused culture by upholding best practices in therapy
