Physical Therapist in San Carlos, AZ

This contract opportunity offers a dynamic caseload with a balanced blend of inpatient and outpatient settings, seeing approximately 13–15 patients per day. Your time will be split between two clinics, both within an hour’s drive of each other, offering a diverse range of cases and experiences. The role operates on 10-hour shifts, providing extended clinical interaction for deeper patient engagement.

Schedule/Hours:

• 10-hour days
• Shifts split between two clinics located within an hour of each other

Key Qualifications:

• Valid and active Physical Therapist license
• Experience in hospital therapy (inpatient and outpatient settings preferred)
• Ability to independently evaluate and treat a broad spectrum of patient needs
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• Must provide proof of flu vaccination (no exceptions)
• Address must be more than 100 miles from the facility

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based therapy across inpatient (80%) and outpatient (20%) populations
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary medical teams to create and implement patient care plans
• Track patient progress, performing periodic reassessments and updating care strategies accordingly
• Educate patients and families on treatment techniques for continued progress
• Maintain accurate records and comply with all hospital documentation protocols

Additional Contract Details:

• Assignment spans 13 weeks
• No more than 3 days of requested time off within the contract duration
• Facility may cancel up to 3 shifts per assignment; guaranteed hours not applicable
