As a Physical Therapist in a hospital-based travel role, you will gain exposure to a dynamic blend of patient demographics and medical practices, enriching your clinical skills. Working across various Bay Area counties—including Alameda and Contra Costa—offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and observe multiple leadership styles, which will enhance your career advancement. Schedule/Hours:

  • 36 hours per week guaranteed for qualifying assignments (must meet weekly visit requirements)
  • Some weekend coverage may be required
  • Occasional travel beyond primary territory

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid California Physical Therapist license
  • Current BLS certification
  • Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and auto registration
  • Up-to-date immunizations (TB, MMR, Varicella, HepB, TDap, Flu)
  • Must pass drug screen and physical
  • Willingness to treat a variety of patient populations, including Covid+ and Covid PUI cases

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive therapy care across designated territories (including home settings)
  • Accurately complete and document patient assessments, evaluations, and discharge summaries
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation according to facility standards
  • Adapt to varying caseloads and geographic assignments as needed
