Key Responsibilities:
- Complete comprehensive evaluations for all assigned patients and design individualized treatment plans according to physician direction, focusing on effective community reintegration.
- Provide direct care and delegate therapy services appropriately, ensuring all interventions are aligned with patient needs and goals.
- Act as an educator and resource for patients, families, staff, and students, sharing knowledge and fostering an environment of ongoing learning and safety.
- Maintain thorough and timely medical record documentation in compliance with all regulatory, legal, and facility standards.
- Demonstrate leadership in upholding organizational safety values, following all guidelines on safe patient handling, infection prevention, and work environment safety.
- Engage in personal professional development and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Uphold all professional, ethical, and legal standards relevant to physical therapy practice.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current license as a Physical Therapist and good standing in state of assignment
- Previous experience in outpatient and/or acute hospital settings preferred
- Strong clinical reasoning, documentation, and communication skills
