Travel Physical Therapist in Suffolk, VA

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
• On-call: Every 4th weekend (inpatient coverage)

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Physical Therapy license in Virginia (active/non-expired)
• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy; Doctorate preferred
• Current CPR certification
• Completion of an accredited PT program
• Specialty certifications (OCS, SCS, NDT, Lymphedema, Women’s Health) preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized PT plans for outpatient and occasional inpatient cases
• Utilize appropriate tests and interventions, modifying plans for optimal patient outcomes
• Foster communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
• Provide education and discharge recommendations, ensuring a seamless transition across care settings
• Participate in clinical education, community fitness/wellness programs, and ongoing professional development
• Support process improvements and uphold departmental standards
