A contracted physical therapist opportunity is available in Superior, AZ, offering a dynamic work environment that includes split shifts between two clinics within an hour's drive of each other. This role involves managing a caseload of approximately 13-15 patients daily, with about 80% inpatient and 20% outpatient therapy services. The work schedule consists of 10-hour days, providing a steady yet varied daily routine.
Responsibilities include assessing patient mobility, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient recovery. You will play a critical role in helping patients regain movement and functional abilities within a hospital setting.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Licensed Physical Therapist with current credentials.
- Experience in hospital-based therapy with proficiency in handling both inpatient and outpatient cases.
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills.
- Ability to manage a high-volume caseload efficiently.
- Comfortable traveling between treatment sites up to 1 hour apart.
Work Conditions and Requirements:
- Flu vaccination is mandatory with no exceptions.
- Due to a 100-mile radius policy, candidates must have a permanent address outside a 100-mile radius from the facility.
- Return to office (RTO) requests are limited to no more than 3 days during the 13-week contract.
- The facility may cancel up to 3 shifts during the contract period; guaranteed hours do not apply.
- The assignment is 13 weeks on a contract basis.
