Advance your career as an inpatient physical therapist in a hospital-based setting, providing expert care and support to patients on their rehabilitation journey. This is a contract opportunity with a dynamic team dedicated to achieving patient outcomes while maintaining a supportive work environment.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 5x8-hour day shifts: 8:00am – 4:30pm
  • One weekend per month
  • Possible holiday coverage
  • No on-call required

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year inpatient PT experience required
  • South Carolina or Multi-State Compact Physical Therapist License active at start
  • BLS certification required
  • Previous travel/contract experience preferred (first-time travelers not accepted)
  • Commitment to including all requested time off during submission
  • Local candidates within 60 miles not accepted

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations, develop, and implement patient-centered physical therapy treatment plans within an inpatient hospital rehab unit
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to promote patient safety, progress, and discharge planning
  • Monitor, document, and communicate patient progress effectively via Epic charting system
  • Adhere to hospital policies and contribute to a positive patient experience
  • Maintain professional standards while adapting to varying patient needs and acuity
  • Be prepared to participate in emergency response teams during hurricane season (June–November) if needed
