Travel Contract Opportunity
Up to $2,300/week
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Must be willing to float
Alabama licensure required
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist for an inpatient and acute care opportunity in Alabama. This position involves providing comprehensive care to geriatric, neurological, stroke, and amputation patients while collaborating with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
Requirements
- Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT)
- Current Alabama Physical Therapist License in good standing
- Current AHA BLS or American Red Cross BLS certification
- 2 years of experience preferred; candidates with 18 months may be considered
- At least 1 year of experience in the specialty
- Willingness to float between units
Responsibilities
- Complete patient evaluations and formulate individualized plans of care
- Perform therapeutic interventions
- Provide patient and family education
- Collaborate with other healthcare disciplines
- Complete all required documentation
- Manage an assigned caseload of approximately 6 patients per day
Ideal Candidate
Experienced Physical Therapist with strong inpatient and acute care experience
Comfortable treating geriatric, neurological, stroke, and amputation patients
Able to work independently while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team
Detail-oriented and committed to quality patient care
Current and compliant with all required licenses and certifications
Preferred
OT and/or SLP licenses
