The role includes leadership responsibilities such as delegating discipline-specific therapy tasks and fostering collaboration among interdisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and develop targeted treatment plans to promote functional recovery and community reintegration.
  • Manage and coordinate therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring safe and effective interventions.
  • Act as an educator to patients, families, students, and colleagues on therapy techniques and health management.
  • Maintain timely, accurate documentation, including progress notes, medical necessity letters, and charge entries in compliance with regulatory standards.

  • Uphold professional ethics and comply with state practice acts, professional licensure requirements, and organizational policies.
