Qualifications:
- Current, valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
- Minimum of one year of recent inpatient hospital or healthcare experience preferred
- Proficiency in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Solid understanding of regulatory standards and documentation procedures in a clinical setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to adapt to changing patient needs and fast-paced environments
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess patients to determine functional needs and create personalized therapy plans
- Deliver hands-on physical therapy interventions to improve strength, flexibility, coordination, and range of motion
- Monitor patient progress and document outcomes accurately in electronic medical records
- Partner closely with physicians, nurses, and occupational therapy colleagues to ensure coordinated and high-quality care
- Educate patients and families on exercises and strategies to continue therapy at home
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized therapy spaces that meet infection control protocols
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to departmental goals and initiatives
