A physical therapist is needed to provide expert outpatient therapy services focused on patients’ functional recovery and return to community activities. The ideal candidate evaluates all assigned patients, develops and implements customized treatment plans, and adjusts care according to each patient’s needs, goals, and physician directives. You will serve as a clinical leader by directing discipline-specific therapy services and educating patients, families, students, and coworkers.

Key responsibilities include completing thorough evaluations, writing clear documentation including goals and medical necessity letters, and ensuring care aligns with physician orders and insurance requirements. You will also participate in student training programs, contribute to performance improvement initiatives, and maintain compliance with professional licensure and state regulations.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Licensed Physical Therapist in good standing, meeting state practice act requirements
  • Proven clinical reasoning skills to develop effective treatment plans
  • Experience with outpatient therapy services and documentation standards
  • Ability to supervise and mentor therapy students and other staff
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education
  • Strong adherence to ethical standards and organizational codes of conduct
