Physical Therapist - Warwick, Rhode Island

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current and valid Physical Therapist license in the state
• Prior experience in hospital-based therapy settings
• Proficiency in evaluating, planning, and implementing evidence-based treatment plans
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, patients, and families
• Strong organizational abilities and adaptability in a dynamic care environment
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, or willingness to obtain prior to start

Schedule/Hours:

• Contract-based assignment; schedule details will be discussed during the interview process

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, develop, and administer personalized therapy plans to improve patient strength, mobility, and functional outcomes
• Document evaluations, progress, and discharge plans according to professional and regulatory standards
• Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to provide coordinated, quality care
• Educate patients and families regarding rehabilitative techniques and home exercise programs
• Continually monitor and adjust therapy goals to meet each patient’s individual needs
• Uphold safety guidelines and hospital protocols throughout the course of care
