Nestled in the heart of Weldona, Colorado, this travel assignment lets you immerse yourself in the scenic landscapes and friendly local culture of the Rocky Mountain region. Schedule/Hours:
- Four 10-hour days: Monday through Thursday, 8 am – 6 pm
- Guaranteed 36–40 hours per week (as needed for patient care)
- Self-scheduling for your own patients, with flexibility and blocked time for evaluations and documentation
- Occasional weekend on-call; no holiday requirements
Opportunity to work primarily in outpatient pediatric therapy, with exposure to developmental delays, autism, torticollis, orthopedic issues, and the unique resource of a warm water therapy pool. There’s also potential for early intervention and occasional assistance with inpatient acute rehab cases.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Colorado Physical Therapy license (PT)
- Current BLS certification
- Prior pediatric therapy experience highly preferred
- Must be in-state for orientation week (remote first-day modules as applicable)
- Valid driver’s license, willingness to comply with facility onboarding requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat pediatric patients (8–10 daily) with a variety of diagnoses
- Deliver evidence-based therapy interventions across outpatient and, occasionally, inpatient settings
- Collaborate with experienced supervisors, rehab aides, and other PT/PTA colleagues to ensure high-quality care
- Maintain thorough documentation and communicate effectively with families and team members
