Travel Physical Therapist in Weldona, CO

Nestled in the heart of Weldona, Colorado, this travel assignment lets you immerse yourself in the scenic landscapes and friendly local culture of the Rocky Mountain region. Schedule/Hours:

• Four 10-hour days: Monday through Thursday, 8 am – 6 pm
• Guaranteed 36–40 hours per week (as needed for patient care)
• Self-scheduling for your own patients, with flexibility and blocked time for evaluations and documentation
• Occasional weekend on-call; no holiday requirements

Opportunity to work primarily in outpatient pediatric therapy, with exposure to developmental delays, autism, torticollis, orthopedic issues, and the unique resource of a warm water therapy pool. There’s also potential for early intervention and occasional assistance with inpatient acute rehab cases.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Colorado Physical Therapy license (PT)
• Current BLS certification
• Prior pediatric therapy experience highly preferred
• Must be in-state for orientation week (remote first-day modules as applicable)
• Valid driver’s license, willingness to comply with facility onboarding requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and treat pediatric patients (8–10 daily) with a variety of diagnoses
• Deliver evidence-based therapy interventions across outpatient and, occasionally, inpatient settings
• Collaborate with experienced supervisors, rehab aides, and other PT/PTA colleagues to ensure high-quality care
• Maintain thorough documentation and communicate effectively with families and team members
