Schedule & Hours

• Day shifts (8 hours)
• One weekend per month, with weekdays off to balance
• No on-call or night shift requirements

Qualifications

• Valid BLS certification required
• Minimum one year of hospital acute care, inpatient rehab, or skilled nursing facility experience
• Flexibility to work varied day shift hours is essential
• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapeutic interventions for orthopedic, cardiovascular, neurologic, and general med/surg patients
• Utilize equipment such as treatment beds, exercise balls, resistance bands, treadmills, and exercise bikes
• Document all care activities in Meditech EMR
• Participate in the weekend and holiday rotation as needed
• Adhere to departmental dress code (grey scrubs required; non-compliant attire not permitted)
• Function as part of an interdisciplinary care team including directors, lead PTs, PTAs, and OTs
• Maintain patient ratios based on unit volume and collaborate to meet patient goals
