Physical Therapist | Wichita, Kansas

Deliver exceptional, patient-centered physical therapy within a newly opened 41-bed inpatient rehabilitation center featuring state-of-the-art technology and modern amenities. Work alongside an experienced therapy team, including PTs, PTAs, OTs, and SLPs, all dedicated to delivering outstanding rehabilitative care.

Schedule:

• 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• 8-hour shifts
• Flexibility for start/stop treatment times
• Rotating weekends

Required Qualifications:

• Active Physical Therapist (PT) license
• Current BLS certification
• Proficient clinical skills and the ability to independently evaluate and treat a variety of rehabilitation diagnoses

Preferred Experience:

• Prior experience in an acute inpatient rehabilitation setting
• Neuro certification or demonstrable neuro rehabilitation experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized therapy plans
• Deliver daily therapy sessions, including gait training, neuromuscular reeducation, and caregiver instruction
• Carry up to 6 patient treatment hours per 8-hour shift
• Track therapy time and charges to ensure patients meet the inpatient rehabilitation therapy requirements
• Utilize advanced equipment, including ESTIM, patient lifts, transfer/gym equipment, and vital sign monitors
• Document thoroughly using Meditech Magic EMR
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team and actively participate in team meetings
