A rewarding opportunity is available for a licensed Physical Therapist to provide specialized care in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. This contract position is based in Wichita, KS, at a modern 41-bed rehabilitation center equipped with state-of-the-art therapy technology, including advanced treatment and mobility equipment. The facility supports a multidisciplinary therapy team, fostering collaborative patient care in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations and create individualized treatment plans.
- Provide hands-on physical therapy focusing on gait training, neuromuscular reeducation, and caregiver education.
- Utilize equipment such as ESTIM, patient lifts, and therapy gym tools to enhance patient outcomes.
- Monitor and document patient progress to ensure compliance with inpatient rehab therapy requirements.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary therapy team of PTs, PTAs, OTs, and SLPs.
- Maintain accurate tracking of treatment minutes and patient charges in the electronic medical records system.
Qualifications:
- Current Physical Therapy licensure.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Preferred experience in an acute inpatient rehabilitation setting.
- Neuro certification or related neurological rehabilitation experience is a plus.
- Strong team player with flexibility for treatment scheduling and weekend rotations.
- Skilled in using various rehabilitative equipment and technology.
Schedule/Hours:
- Day shift, 8-hour shifts, typically from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Some weekend rotation may be required.
