Travel Physical Therapist | Windsor, Virginia

Working primarily in an outpatient clinic setting, with occasional coverage on a small med/surg unit and same day surgery for total knees, you’ll immerse yourself in a variety of patient cases, enhancing your skillset. On-call responsibilities are every fourth weekend for inpatient coverage, providing a balance between routine and acute care experiences. Integrate with diverse clinical teams, learn new documentation systems, and absorb progressive leadership styles to elevate your practice.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• On-call: Every 4th weekend for inpatient coverage

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with at least a Bachelor’s degree (Doctorate preferred)
• Active Physical Therapy license in Virginia
• Current CPR certification
• Outpatient and inpatient therapy experience preferred
• Specialty certification such as OCS, SCS, NDT, Lymphedema, or Women’s Health is an asset

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, plan, and provide skilled physical therapy interventions across outpatient, inpatient, and community settings
• Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Ensure compliance with professional standards and state regulations
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding therapy goals and discharge planning
• Document care accurately and participate in performance improvement initiatives
• Support the profession through involvement in education, fitness/wellness programs, and community outreach
