Travel Physical Therapist - Windsor, VA

Experience working with a dedicated, multidisciplinary team in a primarily outpatient therapy clinic, with occasional exposure to med/surg and same-day surgery cases. You'll see a variety of patient populations—adolescents through geriatrics, with occasional pediatric care—allowing for professional growth through diverse clinical settings and interdisciplinary collaboration. This assignment provides valuable experience with different workplace practices, leadership styles, and holistic care approaches, enhancing your resume and broadening your professional network.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm
• On call: Every 4th weekend for inpatient coverage

Qualifications:

• Graduate (minimum bachelor’s, doctorate preferred) of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Active Physical Therapy license from the State of Virginia
• Current CPR certification
• Specialty certification (OCS, SCS, NDT, Lymphedema, Women’s Health, etc.) preferred
• Experience with outpatient, inpatient, and surgical patient care strongly desired

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, plan, and implement comprehensive physical therapy interventions
• Assess and document patient progress using standardized and non-standardized tests
• Collaborate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize functional outcomes
• Provide patient and caregiver education for enhanced recovery and safe discharge
• Act as a fitness/wellness instructor for community programs as needed
• Participate in ongoing education and process improvement initiatives
