Schedule/Hours:
- Physical Therapy assignment
- 13-week contract
- 30 hours guaranteed weekly
Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe, effective, and individualized physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of licensed physical therapists
- Adapt therapy plans based on patient progress and documented outcomes
- Educate patients and families regarding at-home exercises and rehabilitative care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members for comprehensive care planning
- Accurately document patient progress and responses to interventions
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Current licensure or eligibility as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in California
- Previous experience in a hospital setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal and patient communication skills
- Ability to manage a diverse patient population with empathy and professional expertise
