Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Current state licensure as an SLP
• Previous experience in hospital, acute care, or school settings highly valued
• Strong knowledge of standardized testing, individualized treatment planning, and documentation protocols
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective family and multidisciplinary team collaboration

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive patient assessments, formulate measurable goals, and implement tailored therapy interventions for children and adults
• Document care accurately and promptly according to hospital and school standards and regulatory requirements
• Provide consultation and education for families, caregivers, and professionals to facilitate optimal care and generalization of skills
• Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team rounds as appropriate
• Maintain compliance with all legal, ethical, and organizational standards related to patient care and privacy
• Contribute to discharge planning and make recommendations for continued services or supports as needed
