Schedule/Hours:

  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Qualifications:

  • Doctoral degree in Audiology (Au.D.) required
  • Current licensure in audiology and speech-language pathology, or eligibility for licensure
  • Extensive knowledge of hospital-based therapy procedures for both SLP and audiology
  • Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills
  • Excellent communication abilities with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Compassionate approach to patient care and a commitment to best clinical practices

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations for speech, language, voice, swallowing, and hearing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the broader care team
  • Administer and interpret audiological assessments and provide hearing aid fittings as needed
  • Document patient progress and coordinate care with physicians, nurses, and therapists
  • Provide patient and family education on therapy strategies, preventative care, and use of adaptive equipment
  • Stay current with emerging practices and continued education within the SLP and audiology fields
