The position is split between two hospitals: Belton Regional Medical Center and Lee’s Summit Medical Center, located in the heart of Missouri. Both locations serve as key healthcare providers in their communities, each offering a comfortable and professional environment. Responsibilities:

• Deliver expert inpatient speech-language pathology services focusing on conditions that require video swallow evaluations.
• Use advanced clinical skills to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and swallowing disorders in hospital patients.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation utilizing Meditech electronic health records.
• Adhere to hospital protocols and guidelines to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
• Work weekdays, approximately 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with a floating schedule between the two sites to support patient needs.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and current CCCs certification required.
• Proven inpatient experience with advanced skills in video swallow procedures.
• Ability to provide care in fast-paced hospital settings and adapt to floating between two locations.
