Providing specialized speech-language pathology services in a critical illness and rehabilitation setting, this travel role in Bowling Green, KY offers the opportunity to positively impact patient recovery while working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop clinical treatment plans targeting patient discharge goals within established lengths of stay.
• Deliver therapy services efficiently in individual, concurrent, and group formats, adjusting caseload management as needed to meet patient needs.
• Collaborate with medical, nursing, and therapy staff to address discharge barriers, facilitate equipment trials, and provide patient and family education including home exercise programs.
• Maintain clear, concise, accurate, and timely documentation including daily notes, goal setting, quality indicators, letters of medical necessity, and discharge summaries compliant with all regulatory and hospital policies.
• Adhere to all hospital and professional standards including ethical guidelines, patient confidentiality, safety protocols, and regulatory licensure requirements.
• Participate in student training programs providing supervision and fostering a positive educational experience.
• Engage in continuous professional development and organizational quality improvement initiatives.
• Support patient and professional advocacy activities including community events and professional organizations.

• Valid and active licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist with compliance to all state practice acts.
