Key Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Active Illinois SLP license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred—Clinical Fellows are also encouraged to apply
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) or eligibility preferred
- Experience in a school setting or strong commitment to working with children
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students based on IEP objectives
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to determine service eligibility and needs
- Develop, implement, and review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams for holistic student support
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with state and district standards
