Essential Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active and unencumbered SLP license
  • Clinical experience in a hospital setting highly preferred
  • Demonstrated expertise working with pediatric populations
  • Current CPR certification
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary care teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders in pediatric patients
  • Develop individualized treatment plans, monitor progress, and adjust interventions as needed
  • Provide education and support to families regarding therapy techniques and treatment goals
  • Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals to ensure coordinated patient care
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute insights on patient progress and care strategies
